Online conference for those interested in remote work
On September 7th and 8th online conference “Go Remote: Explore the potential of remote work opportunities!” will take place. The aim of the conference organizers is to reduce youth unemployment in Latvia – especially for young people from rural areas.
The online conference “Go Remote: Explore the potential of remote work opportunities!” is dedicated to discussing trends, principles and opportunities for remote work. Both young people who want to pursue a career while working remotely and employers who want to create such opportunities are invited to participate.
The theme of the first day is “How to become a remote worker: from A to Z”, which will explain how to become a remote worker and how to improve your productivity in this mode of work. The second day will focus on “Remote work – a step toward the future”, which will address questions such as: is remote work the future of work or an employer’s worst nightmare; how to be the perfect remote boss; what are the best tools to help your team be productive?
The conference will feature guest speakers and experts from around the world. Among them will be Fabian Dittrich – entrepreneur, adventurer and speaker who has been sharing his insights on productivity and travel for years; Emily Hinks – founder of the facilitation agency Mischief Makers; Rowena Hennigan – remote working pioneer who has been working remotely since 2007, as well as other experts. All sessions will be held in English, but Latvian translation will be provided during the event as well.
